Marvel Television’s VisionQuest has arrived on Disney+, completing the screen trilogy that began with WandaVision and continued with Agatha All Along. Disney’s October schedule lists the series on October 14, while a company feature says it premiered Tuesday, October 13, with two episodes; viewers should check their local Disney+ listing for availability.
What is VisionQuest about?
The story follows a rebooted Vision, played by Paul Bettany, after he escapes people seeking to weaponize him. He tries to understand memories that do not feel like his own while keeping a low profile in Edinburgh. Disney’s official synopsis says a bounty on Vision forces him to flee with Thomas Shepard, a mysterious boy who may be connected to him.
Vision consults artificial-intelligence personas embedded in his programming, including F.R.I.D.A.Y., E.D.I.T.H. and J.A.R.V.I.S. He must define his identity while resisting the influence of Ultron, voiced by James Spader.
How it connects to WandaVision
Marvel and Disney describe VisionQuest as the conclusion of a trilogy that began with WandaVision (2021) and continued with Agatha All Along (2024). This chapter focuses on Vision’s search for identity within the story world around Wanda Maximoff, Vision and the aftermath of Westview.
Cast and release details
The confirmed cast includes Bettany and Spader, alongside Ruaridh Mollica, Todd Stashwick, T’Nia Miller, Lauren Morais, Orla Brady, Diane Morgan, Polly Frame, Henry Lewis, Jonathan Sayer, Emily Hampshire and James D’Arcy. Disney says Terry Matalas created the series for television, with Christopher J. Byrne, Gandja Monteiro, Vincenzo Natali and Matalas directing.
Disney’s official pages list October 13 and October 14 in different release materials. The sources do not explain the difference, so the local Disney+ listing is the most reliable way to confirm when it is available in a viewer’s country.
